Technology upgrade coming May 2nd

We will be closed early Friday, April 29th, at 3 p.m. and re-open Monday, May 2nd, at 8:30 a.m.

We are excited to announce that we will have a new and improved technology system on May 2, 2022.
The credit union will be closed for the technology upgrade on Friday, April 29th, at 3 p.m.
Starting at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 28th, telephone banking and Online/app banking transactions will be cutoff. Online/app banking viewing will be cut off Friday, April 29th at 6 p.m.
Credit and debit cards will continue to function throughout, although limits may be adjusted.
We will open Monday, May 2nd, and all services will be coming online throughout the day as the technology upgrade completes.
We appreciate your patience during this process, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Our team at POE FCU is proud to be offering all the latest technology as part of this upgrade.

Plan Ahead:

Online BillPay or other online transfers should not be scheduled for any time after April 29, 2022.

If you have a transfer scheduled in Home Banking on or after April 29th, you will need to modify the date to April 29th or earlier prior to the Technology Upgrade. After the Upgrade, you will need to re-enroll and reschedule any BillPay, internal transfers, or transfers.
Download statements you would like to keep. After the upgrade, only statements moving forward will be available online.
BillPay users should write down their payees and other relevant information as this will need to be re-entered after re-enrolling for online banking.

Payments, Withdrawals, and ACH Deposits:

Direct deposits and withdrawals that would arrive while we are closed will post to your account on Friday, April 29th.
Funds will be available for withdrawal Monday, May 2nd.

Loan payments, typically made at a branch with a due date during the Upgrade, should be made prior to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29th or on Monday, May 2nd.

Numbers, Accounts, Checks, and Cards:

Continue to use your current checks, debit, and credit cards.

Use your current Member Numbers and Routing Number as these will remain the same.

New features to include:

Remote Deposit Capture -Deposit checks from home.
Portal Pay -Ability to pay your loan via a debit or credit card online from online banking.
eDOC -Remote signatures for account opening and loan closings.
BillPay -will now be more functional on the app.
E-notices/receipts -receive notices and receipts via email.
Debit card Control -Option to turn on and off a lost or stolen debit card through the app.
Account opening -ability to open suffix accounts online.

We will be processing ACH on Friday, April 29th, for all transactions that would have been posted in the hold file for the weekend. This would allow anyone with a deposit coming in on the closed days to get the money provided the transaction is available.
As we have been working diligently to improve our technology and enhance our delivery channels, now more than ever, consumers need the ability to do their banking electronically and our new system will address this need.
